Allium Christophii

The large metallic silver-lilac heads of 20cm, made up of many tiny star shaped flowers, are semi-transparent, giving the effect of a fretwork screen. Allium Christophii is also known as Star of Persia and it continues to look intriguing when the seed heads are dried.

Like most Allium bulbs, they are a staple addition to any wildlife friendly garden providing forage for bees and other pollinators and an inexpensive pleasure for you, year after year.
