Eucomis bicolour
Many pale green flowers bursting from the stem, edged in purple with a purple throat. Topped with a smaller collection of bracts or small leaves giving it the name the King flower or Pineapple flower. Large lanceolate leaves protrude from the ground, decorated undernaeth with brown-purple markings. Flowering from July to September.
