How to grow

Hardiness:Hardy
Soil type:Well drained
Position:Full sun

Plant at the surface of the soil in very well draining soil. The rhizome enjoys the heat to produce lots of flowers although will flower in partial shade. 

Iris Germanica are best planted mid summer onwards for flowering the next season, May to June. So you might not get any flowers in the first year.
