Leucojum Bulbs

Leucojum bulbs show nodding, white bell-shaped flowers in the spring, you would be excused for thinking this was a very large snowdrop. However, Leucojum (also known as Summer Snowflakes) are taller and come much later with a distinctive bright green spot on the end of each petal.

You should plant them in clumps in your garden or in grassland. If your soil is dry and sandy, digging leaf mould or compost into the ground to help maintain moisture would be beneficial.
