When Snowdrop bulbs finally push through in early January, you know it’s time to start thinking about the spring season ahead. Perfect for naturalising, snowdrops team up well with Eranthis Hyemalis. Although there are thousands of varieties available we sell the most common snowdrop bulbs. As a wholesaler we sell millions of them to parks and woodlands around the country.
Every year Snowdrops draw people to woodlands and parks. Create your own woodland walk with our great wholesale prices. Semi-shade conditions are ideal for these perfectly formed, white, bell-shaped flowers.
How do I plant snowdrop bulbs?
Plant snowdrop bulbs in moist but well-drained soil in partial shade in October and November, 2-3 inches deep. Deadheading helps to concentrate energy back into snowdrop bulbs for a better display the following year. Dig up and divide congested clumps of every few years.
Looking for Snowdrops in the Green?
We also supply ‘Snowdrops in the green‘, including the Galanthus Nivalis (single snowdrop) and Flora Pleno (double snowdrop), as young plants from mid-February to early March. A great early Spring bulb. Our in the green bulbs are sourced from licensed UK sources.
