Single Late Tulip Bulbs
Single Late Tulips are some of the finest tulips you can grow. Elegant single flowers on long stems flowering in May. Within this group is the timeless favourite Queen of Night, a near black tulip that goes with anything. In fact, all of these tulips pair really well and it is worth trying the mix to explore the full range. Or try planting with double late tulips. These will be the last tulips of the season just as alliums come into flower. They are a long lasting tulip perfect for any position in the garden. The long stems are ideal for placing in the centre of beds, or making dramatic containers. Equally single late tulips are well worth keeping for a cutting garden and bringing indoors as emerging buds.
Plant in autumn between October and November. Keep the bulbs in well draining soil and regularly watered once they have started to show through the soil.
