Canna are a ‘must have’ for anyone who likes a touch of the exotic in their garden. For best results, start the tubers off indoors using large pots during late February or early March, water and feed well before planting outdoors once the frost is no longer a risk.

They will flower mid-summer and keep on going until the first frosts of autumn. Lift the tubers and store frost-free for the winter.
