More Information

Achillea Cherry Queen Plants (Yarrow) – Flat heads of bright cerise flowers, held high on tall stems, hovering above ferny grey-green foliage. Commonly known as Yarrow but I prefer ‘Sneezewort’.

A long-flowering, clump forming perennial, which like other achilleas, becomes drought tolerant once established, it likes a sunny spot and also makes a lovely cut flower. Achillea will tolerate most situations, from borders, banks and slopes to gravel and courtyard gardens, but it will not thrive in heavy, wet clay in winter, preferring full sun on well drained soil.

This herbaceous perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, with fresh new growth appearing again in spring. Once established, you can propagate by division in spring.

Sold in packs of 3 x 9cm pots.
