More Information

Achillea Desert Eve Cream (Yarrow) – Flat heads comprising of clusters of tiny flowers in a classy cream colour, held high on tall stems, hovering above ferny grey-green foliage. Commonly known as Yarrow but I prefer ‘Sneezewort’.

A long-flowering, clump forming perennial, which like other achilleas, becomes drought tolerant once established, it likes a sunny spot and also makes a lovely cut flower. Achillea will tolerate most situations, from borders, banks and slopes to gravel and courtyard gardens, but it will not thrive in heavy, wet clay in winter.

This herbaceous perennial dies back to below ground level each year in autumn, with fresh new growth appearing again in spring. Once established, you can propagate by division in spring.
