Anemone Multifida White

Anemone Multifida White have milky white flowers appearing from June to August. A greenish mound of pistils is surround by a ring of yellow stamen.

The foliage is has a well-defined star shape in deep, waxy green and has fine hairs.

Anemones take many different forms, from the wind flower to the Japanese Anemone. They are all part of the Buttercup family, Ranunculaceae. Is similar to both the anemones ‘The Bride’ and ‘Nemorosa’ but each have their own character.

Originating from North America, their home is on chalky soil. A small but robust plant growing 15cm wide and 25cm high.

Plant in well-draining and fertile soil. Suitable for semi shaded areas, or place in the sun. They don’t require much attention and will continue to spread if left alone.

The foliage will die back in winter. Anemone Multifida White don’t like to be too wet and may struggle in very wet winters.
