More Information

Carex Testacea, commonly known as sand sedge, is a short-lived perennial grass native to North America. This species occurs in dry and moist soils, sands and gravels of open areas such as fields, roadsides, and shores of ponds or lakes. It has dense tufts of arching leaves that are greenish brown.

Grasses are great plants for filling troublesome areas of the garden and as ground coverage. Withstanding the unpredictable British summers they provide structure and interesting textures.
