Coreopsis grandiflora Illico

Coreopsis grandiflora Illico is a bright yellow Coreopsis with double petals. The ends of the coreopsis petals are serrated. A perennial plant of 30cm high and 40cm spread.

The foliage is a thick pale green but mostly hidden by the continuous flowers of Coreopsis grandiflora Illico. It will flower form June to September. Remember to dead head flowers to keep more flowers coming through the summer months.

Plant in early spring in a sunny position. They are happy in most soils although don’t let them sit in water.

This variety produces less seed than others but you can collect them in autumn for planting out in early next spring.
