Growing Crocosmia

Crocosmia will grow in a wide range of soil types, but prefer a warm, sunny spot in fertile, moist but well-drained soil. They definitely love the sun, even light shade can reduce flowering. Avoid planting in waterlogged or very dry conditions.

A hardy plant that will multiply if left in the ground.

The corms are easy to divide, congested clumps should be divided every three to five years to rejuvenate them and encourage better flowering. In colder areas you may need to mulch them to protect from frost.
