When caring for begonias, it is important to provide the right amount of warmth and light. Place your plants in an area with bright filtered sunlight or diffuse artificial light. Begonias can tolerate a wide range of temperature, but prefer a higher humidity level of around 60%. Water your plant regularly to keep the soil lightly moist, but avoid overwatering which will cause the leaves to rot. Fertilize every other month, using a liquid fertilizer that is designed for flowering plants. Use a potting mix specifically designed for begonias that has excellent drainage and aeration capabilities. Be sure to check the soil moisture every few weeks to ensure it is not too dry or too wet. Finally, prune your plant to maintain its shape and size by trimming off dead leaves and stems.
