Dutch Iris Telstar
Dutch Iris Telstar is a pure blue iris with a yellow blotch. Flowering early June these are the largest of the iris grown from bulbs. Much larger and later than the Species Iris, the Dutch Iris have their own distinctive colouring.

Dutch Iris Telstar is a pure blue iris with a yellow blotch. Flowering early June these are the largest of the iris grown from bulbs. Much larger and later than the Species Iris, the Dutch Iris have their own distinctive colouring. The foliage is a spikey grass like leaf that will show for a long time before the flower emerges. The bud can appear very quickly and flower in a matter of days.
Plant in a sunny position and keep them well watered whilst actively growing. They are a hardy bulb and will flower again so long as the flower is removed and the foliage is allowed to die back. It might be beneficial to lift them for planting in the following autumn.
