Geranium Wargrave Pink – these are hardy geraniums, commonly known as cranesbill geraniums, cranesbills or ‘true geraniums’

A long flowering Cranesbill that forms attractive clumps of evergreen foliage. This fully hardy perennial will flower from late spring to mid-autumn, with clusters of salmon-pink, funnel-shaped blooms that fade to a softer pink as they mature.

Growing Cranesbill

This perennial plant is robust, reliable and requires little maintenance. Plant in free-draining soil in sun or partial shade. Prolong flowering by removing spent flowers, stems and leaves. Lift and divide large in the spring as required, it will also self-seed if allowed.

Caring for your Bare Root Perennials

Buying and growing bare root perennials is more cost-effective than buying a potted plant from a garden centre later in the season, plus, it gives plants a great head start for your garden.

Simply pot up your bare root perennials when you receive them and keep them in a cold frame or cool place, around 10C is perfect. Then, if there is a cold snap, they can be easily moved away from any risk of frost. Once the soil has warmed up, your already flourishing plant can be transplanted to the spot you have been eyeing up all winter!
