More Information
Gladioli Nanus Elvira is very pale pink with diamond shaped magenta markings at the throat of the flowers. Gladioli Nanus bulbs are nearly half the size of the large flowering gladioli. The flowers have a simpler form but more intimate markings. They are excellent as cut flowers for their long lasting loom time. Plus they don’t take up as much room as some of the larger gladioli.
Plant your gladiolus bulbs in spring and grow on in frost-free conditions or plant straight outside after risk of frost has passed. The summer flowering bulbs are not hardy, so it is wise to lift them during winter and store them in a frost free and dry spot.
