More Information
Lily Oriental Casa Blanca is an incredibly beautiful, fragrant, and easy to grow perennial lily bulb. It blooms in mid-summer and will continue flowering until the first frost. Its white petals are delicately ruffled and have a pinkish hue near their tips. The stems of the lily can reach up to 1.2 metres and it has large, dark green leaves that provide support for its stately flower heads.
To successfully grow Lily Oriental Casa Blanca, choose a sunny spot with well-draining soil. Water regularly during the growing season, making sure not to let the soil dry out completely. In cooler climates, mulching around the lily bulb can help protect it from extreme cold. When planting, space them between two and three feet apart.
They are a hardy bulb and will last for years, but regular checking of lily beetles is essential.
Fertilising every month or two will help promote healthy growth and bountiful blooms.
In addition to keeping your lilies looking beautiful in your own landscape, you can extend their life by propagating them. This can be done by division of the root clump or through bulbils, which are small bulbs that form on the stem. Each of these methods will enable you to grow more plants for your garden and give away as gifts.
Overall, lily bulbs of the Casa Blanca variety are easy-care flowers that can add beauty and fragrance to any outdoor space.
