More Information
Lily Stargazer is a type of oriental lily known for its beautiful, fragrant flowers. It features large, pink and white blooms that can reach up to 20cms in diameter. This type of lily has an especially strong scent that carries into the evening. Slightly freckled markings and beautifully reflexed petals pronounce the long elegant stamen. It can stain so if you are cutting them for indoors it helps to remove them with a light pinch.
Oriental lilies are special because they grow quickly and produce multiple blooms on a single stem, making them ideal for cutting or putting in bouquets. They also come in many different colours, so you can find one that fits your needs perfectly!
The foliage grows symmetrically up a long stem. It’s deep green and echos the petals of the flower. Keep an eye out for lily beetles, they can make the leaves look very tatty. Simply pick off the bright red bugs when ever you see them
Our lilies are grown in Holland and do not use pesticides in their production.
To care for Lily Stargazer, it’s important to plant them in well-draining soil with plenty of organic matter. They should be watered regularly and fertilized monthly throughout the growing season. Deadheading spent blooms will help keep your lilies looking vibrant and healthy.
