More Information
Narcissus Pueblo are a superb jonqullia narcissus. They are without doubt, one of our top recommendations for planting in autumn. A cheaper alternative to Thalia or Tresamble but just as vibrant and elegant. Narcissus bulbs are so easy to grow because they will grow in most soils, in full sunlight or slight shade. They don’t require a lot of care and will begin to spread over the years. Narcissus Pueblo begin with white petals and a lemon cup but the cup will fade into pure white as it matures. It is a fragrant narcissus bulb suitable for containers, pots or beds. The simple foliage is non invasive and nestles just below the flower.
Plant the bulbs around 10cm deep in autumn and they will flower in April. They are hardy and don’t need to be lifted if you are happy with their position. Let the foliage die back naturally to ensure plenty of food gets back to the bulb once the flowering has finished. You can either remove the heads to prevent them spreading or let them go to seed. Although it can take many years for seeds to develop into bulbs. You can fit around 100 bulbs to a square metre.
These bulbs are available in bulk too. If you are looking for a large landscaping project Narcissus Pueblo are an ideal solution. Get in touch for a quote.
