More Information

Narcissus Silver Standard 25Kg bulbs have stunning bright white petals and a pale lemon yellow cup. Unlike the similar Ice Follies, Silver Standard keep the colour in the cup for the duration of its flowering time in March and April. You will receive approximately 450 bulbs to a 25Kg sack. This will cover around 8 square metres.

Daffodils are easy to grow and will continue to flower year after year.

Planting Daffodil bulbs

Plant Daffodil bulbs in autumn, at one-and-a-half times their own depth, slightly deeper in light soils or grass. Daffodil bulbs prefer well-drained soil that is moist in the growing season in spring, in full sun or light dappled shade.

Daffodil are relatively low maintenance and will come back year-on-year. Deadhead as the flowers fade, and allow the leaves to die down naturally so that the bulbs have nutrients to come back the following year.

You can propagate Daffodil bulbs by division when clumps have formed. Gently lift and separate bulbs, to replant as the leaves fade in early summer, or in early autumn before new roots are produced.
