Penstemon Arabesque Red

Penstemon Arabesque Red is a hardy perennial that produces vibrant blooms in shades of deep red. It’s perfect for the front of your garden or as a border plant, and its long flowering season means it will add color to your outdoor spaces from mid-spring until late summer.

To ensure healthy growth, this variety prefers well-drained soil and a position in full sun or partial shade. It can grow up to 40cm in height, with a spread of 25cm, and its foliage is semi-evergreen.

Penstemon Arabesque Red will attract bees and butterflies which makes it great for wildlife gardens. But be sure to deadhead the blooms regularly if you want to promote healthy re-flowering. This variety has an RHS Award of Garden Merit, so you can be sure it will perform well in your garden. To get the best from this plant, we recommend dividing and replanting every two years or so.
