Growing Peonies

When caring for Peony Sarah Bernhardt, the soil should be well drained. Use rich in organic matter, and have regular access to moisture. Always position you peonies in full sun if possible but ensure that the plants are not left too moist. This can lead to rot or fungal diseases such as botrytis blight. In areas with harsher winters, mulch around the roots will help protect them from freezing temperatures. Additionally, dividing and transplanting plants every 3-4 years will help ensure the plant remains healthy over time. Finally, make sure to remove any spent blooms to encourage new growth and limit the spread of disease.

Once Peony Sarah Bernhardt (Paeonies) have established you will be able to divide the peonies easily with a spade. They are a great investment and work well as a cut flower.
