More Information
Scilla bifolia is a great little flower that can be over looked when you have bluebells, crocus, pushkinia and mascari to contend with. Each of these bulbs has a clearly defined shape and characteristic. Whereas, Scilla bifolia is a small spike filled with small brilliant blue hooded flowers. The foliage is small and indiscreet allowing this small bouquet of flowers to show off their brilliant colour. An excellent and cheap alternative to creating carpets of colour.
A naturalising bulb that will spread if left undisturbed. Plant in full sun or semi shade at only 5-8cm deep.
