    More Information

Tulip Ruby Prince – is a stunning variety of tulip that features deep red petals with brighter red edges. Native to Holland and Turkey, this tulip is one of the most beautiful varieties for any garden. To ensure your Tulip Ruby Prince blooms its best, keep these tips in mind when growing and caring for them.

When planting the bulbs, make sure to choose well-drained soil in a sunny spot. Plant each bulb pointy side up about 6 inches deep and 4-5 inches apart. By planting different varieties at slightly different depths, you can create a colourful display over an extended bloom time. Single Early tulips are one of the earliest tulips to flower in spring.

Once planted, water the bulbs deeply until they are established; after which they will require less frequent, but still regular watering. Make sure the soil remains evenly moist to ensure the best blooms and colour.

To keep your Tulip Ruby Prince looking its best, be sure to deadhead any spent flowers and remove any foliage that shows signs of disease or damage. Be sure not to allow too much water to accumulate around the bulbs; this can cause them to rot and become diseased. With proper care and maintenance, you can enjoy many years of stunning tulips in your garden!

Finally, be aware that once your Tulip Ruby Prince has finished flowering for the season, it’s important to leave the foliage intact until it naturally dies back and turns brown. This allows the bulbs to store food for next year’s growth. Once the foliage has died, cut it away and give your Tulip Ruby Prince a chance to rest and rejuvenate for another beautiful bloom season!
