Tulip Agrass White is a pure white single early tulip. Single early tulips have a distinctive taper when the flower is closed, but in full sun they open wide. Growing to 35cm tall on a sturdy stem tulip Agrass White is a perfect way to kick off your spring flowering season in the beds and borders.
How to plant tulip bulbs
Plant your tulip bulbs in well drained soil, however, they will grow in most soils. During extended wet periods in winter you can cover them over to avoid the bulbs getting water logged. Keep them moist during the growing season. When growing in pots, use a mixture of garden soil, grit and loam to get a balance of drainage and water retention.
Tulip bulbs can be planted in full sun or a slightly shaded position at approximately 10cm deep. A pack of 25 bulbs would easily fill 2 very large pots or run the length of a mid-size border. For further advice have a look at our growing advice on tulip bulbs.
