Tulip Candy Prince – is a single early tulip of pure lilac. The petals are almost paper like, and a beautiful pale fresh colour that would mix well with other stronger colours from the single early range, for example Tulip Candy Prince looks stunning, planted with Tulip Purple Prince. Tulips are generally viewed as very bright, but if you are looking for something more subtle then Tulip Candy Prince would be the perfect candidate. Only 35cm tall which is just tall enough to use as a cut flower, looking superb in a vase. Alternatively, these would work well in containers.
Plant in autumn in well-draining soil at around 10cm deep. You can plant up to 75 bulbs per square metre. A couple of packs of 10 bulbs would easily fill 2 very large pots or run the length of a mid-size border.
