Tulip Jimmy – is a cheeky little orange tulip, with a blush of red. It’s a little short for a triumph tulip but has a perfect shape on a purple stem. Watch this tulip when it catches the sun and see it illuminate! Tulip Jimmy is a good tulip to break up bright reds or matched with contrasting purples.

    How to plant tulip bulbs

Plant tulip bulbs in a well-draining soil 10 cm deep, preferably a loamy mixture. Tulips bulbs can be planted between October and December, even into January. They need a 6 week period of very cold weather so they can start growing once the winter sun begins to warm up. If you are planting in pots make sure you give the roots plenty of room. The bulbs can be positioned in full sun or dappled shade. I often prefer to planted them in a little shade to help prolong the flowering time.
