Tulip Rockery Mixture

Tulip Rockery Mixture, known as a Peacock Hybrid Mixture is a collection of Greigii and Kaufmannianna tulips. These are short and early tulips with a mix of colours. We make our mixtures from our own stocks to include a little of each of the tulips from both of these groups. This will give you a great cross section of tulips to try for March flowering. They will look best in pots. There isn’t much else growing in beds at this time of year so they can look a little lost in beds and boarders, unless you plant a lot of them. Try planting with ground covering bulbs such as puschkinia or anemone blanda.
