More Information

Rather than being upright the heads bob around in all directions, it gives them an informal persona which is unique to this group of tulip bulbs.
They are great to tower over shorter tulips, flowering at the same time. Try pairing with double late tulips or some of the shorter Viridiflora Tulips like Tulip Esperanto.
White tulips are easy bulbs to find a home for in the garden, they’ll go with anything. As a tall flower we would recommend planting in the middle of beds or in very large pots that are sheltered from the wind. You can plant them in either full sun or semi shade areas. Tulip bulbs grow in most soil types, but good drainage is important over wet periods.
What are lily flowered tulips?
Lily flowering tulips have long and pointed petals up to 10cm long. When the flower is closed they have an elegant, slender, elongated shape crowned by pointed petals that curve slightly backwards, in the sun they open wide to look much like a lily flower.
