More Information
Tulip Yokohama – is a tulip bulb that pays homage to the Japanese tulip growing industry. Like the UK, the Japanese industry has declined over the years, partially due to the sheer efficiency of Dutch production. It is however, a beautiful yellow tulip. Tulip Yokohama is a single early variety growing in late March. It has a tapered form and is pure yellow in colour.
How to plant tulip bulbs
Tulips are easy to grow and they are happy in all soil types. You can plant them in full sun or semi-shade. It is recommended to plant them in October to November but slightly earlier or later will be fine. Have a look at our growing advice on tulip bulbs for the best way to grow them.
