More Information

Tulip Peppermint Stick – long pointed petals of raspberry red and white stripe. The buds appear red, before they open out to display the white centres creating the stripe effect.

Plant these tulip bulbs in pots, or in borders, they will naturalise and flower year after year.

How do I plant Species Tulips?

Plant Species Tulip Bulbs around 15-20cm and 15cm apart. They flourish best in well draining soil and a sunny, or semi-shaded location. After they have flowered, leave the foliage in place to die back. This should take around six weeks and allows nutrients to transfer back into the bulb ready to flower again next spring. Species tulips will naturalise if you avoid deadheading and allow them to produce seed.
