Zantedeschia Aethiopica (Arum Lily) have strong stems and large glossy leaves. The rhizomes are hardy and will increase in size to produce many pure white flowers within just a couple of seasons. The flowers are instant recognisable and a favourite of florists. The flowers can often be seen in wedding bouquets. They are able to flower twice a year depending on the weather.

Prefering a moist soil they grow well in semi shade around ponds and water features. You can even plant them in shallow water at the edge of ponds. They can be divided and  repotted after  a couple of years
