Delivery Information

What does Gee Tee charge for delivery?

We use reputable carrier companies to deliver your bulbs. We charge £4.75 (inclusive of VAT) for UK mainland deliveries, regardless of order size. Considering just how heavy bulbs can be, we believe this represents great value.

We do not add any costs to our prices to make delivery charges look more attractive.

For deliveries to the Highlands and Islands, we may have to charge extra for carriage (see below). We will calculate the weight of your order and let you know, but we will only charge the cost price.

When will my order be delivered?

Summer Flowering Bulbs
Our summer flowering bulbs are generally available from mid-February and we begin deliveries as soon as they have arrived with us.

Spring Flowering Bulbs
Our main autumn season will begin in early August, when our spring flowering bulbs start to arrive. We spend this time bringing in and preparing our stocks from Holland and our local bulb fields, before starting to dispatch orders from the first week in September. We do this on a first come, first served basis through to the end of the spring flowering bulb season in December.

Bulbs ‘In the Green’
‘In the Green’ time of supply relies on the correct weather conditions. The first stocks usually arrive into our warehouse, 1st week of February when the stems are of a suitable size for lifting. This can differ by a week or two if it is a particularly cold and wet season. However, once the season is well underway we receive fresh stocks weekly to supply them to you from ground to delivery as quickly as possible.

During our busiest periods, we aim to process orders within a maximum of 21 days of receipt. You’ll find that your order is usually supplied much faster than this, particularly once the bulb season is in full swing.

Once your order has been sent out, we’ll send you an email to let you know it’s coming.

Can I have my order sent to another address?

Yes. When you reach our online checkout, you can specify an alternative delivery address – it’s really handy for when you want your bulbs to be delivered to work, or to a friend’s house.

At the checkout, you can also give us specific delivery instructions. Perhaps you’d prefer your bulbs left in the porch, or in your garage, or your house is difficult to find. Just let us know and we’ll leave your bulbs where you want them to be.

Can I have bulbs delivered to the Highlands and Islands of the UK?

We can deliver to addresses off the UK mainland, such as the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Isles of Scilly, Shetland, Orkney and  Western Isles– but it may cost a little bit more. If you get in touch and tell us exactly where you want your bulbs to go, we’ll give you a price straight away. We’re not able to deliver abroad or Northern Ireland.
